The Colorado Mountain Club (CMC) and the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory (RMBO) are teaming up to provide educational programs designed to help the public understand and appreciate the diverse bird and plant life in Colorado’s mountains throughout May, June and July. The class series is designed to teach about the plant and bird communities in Colorado’s mountain life zones starting in May with the foothills (6,000-8,000 feet), montane (8,000-10,000 feet) in June, and alpine life zone (11,500-14,000) in July. Participants can sign up for individual classes or the entire series.
